Countdown to Kindergarten 2016-2017

Kindergarten registration for the 2016-2017 school year begins soon.

Enrollment will be held at the Central Administrative Office at 602 North Lincoln Street.

The district will offer extended hours as listed below.

Monday, April 25th, 2016
Tuesday, April 26th, 2016

8:30 a.m. until 5:45 p.m.

*Children who will turn five (5) years of age on or before August 1, 2016 should be enrolled*

You should bring:

1. A copy of child's Social Security card or you may request that the school district assign a nine digit number designated by the Arkansas Department of Education.

2. One of the following to verify the child's age:

• Birth certificate

• A statement by the local registrar or a court record certifying the child's date of birth

• An attested baptismal certificate

• A passport

• An affidavit of the date and place of birth by the child's parent or guardian

• Previous school records

• Military ID

3. Immunization records

4. Proof of Residency (Ex: copy of current utility bill, copy of lease, mortgage paperwork, etc.)

It is important to register your child during this pre-registration period. If you have any questions, call the Central Administrative Office at (501)843-3363. Kindergarten waivers may also be completed at this office.
