April School Board Recognition

April 28, 2016

Several students at the top of the class and at the top of their game were recognized at the April 19th school board meeting.

State Basketball Champions

In March, the Cabot Panthers became the 7A State Basketball Champions. This was the first time in school history that the boys teams played for a state basketball championship. 

National Merit Finalists

The Cabot School District is extremely proud of our nine National Merit Finalists.  The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955.

Arkansas Times Academic All-Star

Senior Sydney Spillane has been named an Arkansas Times Academic All-Star. Twenty outstanding high school students are selected to the 2016 Academic All-Star Team.  Exceptional seniors and their educational accomplishments and successes are honored at UALR with plaques and cash awards.

American Mathematics Competition

Brandon Weidling recently participated in the AMC 12 (American Mathematics Competition) and took home to the top score for CHS. Brandon is a junior and he competed against the top juniors and seniors.
