Cabot Educators Back At School Learning From The Best

June 14, 2016

Some Cabot School District educators were back at school Tuesday, learning from the best of the best. It was a day of professional development for hundreds of teachers as they had the opportunity to learn from lifelong educator and motivational speaker Mark McLeod.

McLeod brings his knowledge of being one of Mississippi's top administrators to school districts nationwide. His educational experience includes being a high school and middle school math teacher, coach, and principal. He was selected twice as Teacher of the Year in his district. In 2002, he was selected as his district Administrator of the Year and Mississippi's Region Four Administrator of the Year.

McLeod is known for his dynamic and highly motivating presentations on classroom management and effective instruction. He has presented at local, state, and regional conferences.

In fact, we have several educators in the Cabot School District that say McLeod is such an inspiration, they've participated in at least 10 of his speaking engagements.

Teachers Ramona Tucker, Alison Joyner, Kimberly Hill, Mary Murtishaw, and Roy Brown are Mark McLeod super fans. Ms. Hill and Ms. Murtishaw have seen McLeod present at least 10 times each.
