CHS Art Club Paves The Way
September 30, 2016
Cabot High School Art Club members recently participated in a project that took them to the grounds of the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock.
Thea Paves the Way provides the opportunity for dozens of school, family, church, and community groups to share in a creative effort to cover the sidewalks in vibrant chalk art.
Thea Paves the Way began in 2005 as one of Thea Foundation's first outreach events to engage students, teachers, families, community groups, and others in an exciting collaborative art project. Today, the event draws more than 500 participants.
One of the students favorite parts of the event are the interactive performances by the Parkview High Mime troupe! A few of them are featured in the photo video. It's a very fun and collaborative opportunity for our CHS students as they work together to design and execute a temporary work of chalk art!
