Cabot Schools Honor Military Heroes On Veterans Day — Photo Albums
November 11, 2016
It was a special day throughout the Cabot School District Friday. Students across the district dressed in red, white, and blue to honor our military heroes.
Students have been learning what it means to be a veteran and why it's so important to honor our military heroes. Several schools held Veterans Day programs for our heroes including special breakfasts and lunches.
Students also performed patriotic songs and chanted USA, USA, USA, as veterans and their families were the special guests in parades at several schools. Some students even had the opportunity to learn the proper way to fold an American Flag.
The Cabot High School Air Force JROTC students also participated in several events. Color Guard presented the flags, and at some schools, cadets accompanied students and family members with loved ones currently deployed.
The Cabot School District would like to take this opportunity to thank all our veterans and active service members for protecting our country. Thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. We salute you!
