CFA Students Inducted Into National Speech And Debate Association
February 15, 2017
Cabot Freshman Academy recently held inductions for membership into the National Speech and Debate Association.
The National Speech and Debate Association is the oldest and largest high school speech and debate honor society in the world. The National Speech & Debate Association's Honor Society recognizes middle school and high school students for participation in speech and debate activities.
Students earn the distinction through speech and debate competition, as well as community service, public speaking, and leadership activities. Members are eligible to join the Honor Society once they have earned the required number of points.
Members of the honor society are held to the Code of Honor, the highest standards of integrity, humility, respect, leadership, and service.
The Cabot School District's NSDA chapter is currently the largest chapter in the state and is coached by Jennifer Akers and Chris Flowers.
Congratulations students!
