CHS Medical Academy Students Help Girl Scouts Earn Badges

February 17, 2017

A dozen Cabot High School Medical Academy students recently helped some Girl Scouts earn their safety pin and first aid badges.

It all took place at the Diamond Council Girl Scouts STEM Girls Fest in Little Rock. Our medical academy students taught each Girl Scout level (Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors) how to make a first aid kit, help a choking adult or baby, prevent injuries and help if they occur, use an EpiPen and inhaler, splint a broken bone, and spine board a person that may have a cervical spine injury.

Our medical academy students are amazing and we're so proud of their hard work and dedication.

*Thank you to Med Express for providing the first aid kits
