Flag Ceremony in Honor of Jason Swindle

The Cabot High School AFJROTC conducted a flag ceremony honoring the service and sacrifice of former Cabot resident and CHS student Sgt. Jason Swindle, and his family, on 8 Oct 2012.  The ceremony was held in front of Veterans' Memorial Park and was open to the public.

 

Cabot High School Principal Henry Hawkins opened the service by expressing gratitude toward the Swindle family for Jason's serve in the military.  Following Principal Hawkins, Cadet Vice Wing Commander Glenn Hill served as Master of Ceremonies. 

The Color Guard lowered the flag, folded it and the Color Guard Commander, Cadet Kris Latina, passed the flag to Cadet Wing Commander Andrew Obenshain, who in-turn, presented the flag to the family.  The cadets presented the school flag that was flown at the Veterans' Memorial Park and a U.S. and Arkansas flags that were both flown over the state Capital.
