CHS Teacher Receives National Volunteer Award

Congratulations to Cabot High School teacher Angela Beason!
Mrs. Beason was recently honored with the Wreaths Across America 2018 “TEACH” Award. The award was presented to Mrs. Beason at the 4th Annual Service & Recognition Ceremony held May 3rd, in Arlington, Virginia.
The Wreaths Across America awards recognizes individuals that exemplify the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach, by going above and beyond to honor those who served or have served in our military. Mr. Beason is a Wreaths Across America Volunteer Location Coordinator and is a board member for the nonprofit Arkansas Run for the Fallen.
Mrs. Beason has made it her mission to never forget and to share the stories of our heroes. She currently coordinates fundraising efforts and Wreaths Across America Day ceremonies at several Central Arkansas-area cemeteries.
