CHS Forensics & Debate Ranked Top 100 In Country

Congratulations to Cabot High School for being ranked 39th in the National Speech and Debate Association's Top 100 schools for the 2017-2018 school year!
According to the National Speech & Debate Association Executive Director J. Scott Wunn, “Our Top 100 schools show an incredible commitment to growing speech and debate. These programs demonstrate outstanding commitment to the values of integrity, humility, respect, leadership, and service that are central to our Code of Honor.”
Each year, the 100 chapters with the largest number of new degrees in the National Forensic League Honor Society receive this Top 100 designation.
CHS Forensics & Debate have competed in five tournaments this semester:

ASU Beebe - 1st Place overall tournament sweeps

Bentonville High School - 1st place overall tournament sweeps

Saint Andrew's Episcopal High School in Ridgeland, MS - 3rd place Overall Tournament Speech Sweeps

North Little Rock High School - 1st Place overall tournament sweeps

Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans - 2nd Place overall tournament Speech Sweeps.
The team will host the annual Cabot Classic Forensics and Debate Tournament to be held Jan. 25 - 26, 2019 at Cabot High School.
