Southside K-Kids Have A Heart for Service

Our Southside Kiwanis Kids (K-Kids) certainly have a heart for service and they recently shared their love with nursing home residents.
As part of a service project, fourth graders collected more than 1,500 personal care items along with handmade cards from the entire Southside Elementary student body. K-Kids delivered over 80 gift bags filled with these items to residents at Cabot Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The residents enjoyed the gifts and everyone loved spending time together. K-Kids is a Kiwanis program for elementary school children aimed at learning leadership through service.
