Cabot Scholarship Foundation’s Roast & Toast Banquet 2019 — Photo Albums

April 22, 2019

It was a sold out banquet as more than 600 students, parents, and community members attended the 24th annual Cabot Scholarship Foundation's “Roast & Toast” Banquet at Cabot Junior High North, Tuesday, April 16th.

The event recognized 117 Cabot High School seniors who received $127,600 in scholarships from the Cabot Scholarship Foundation. These scholarships were made possible thanks to community members, businesses, and some of our very own district employees who contribute money out of their paychecks every month to fund scholarships for students. In fact, district employees contributed to twenty scholarships this year.

Since the foundation was formed in 1992, the non-profit has awarded more than $1.1 million dollars to Cabot seniors!

The night was also a celebration of this year's honoree, longtime Cabot resident and supporter Jerry Cole. Mr. Cole was in the service station business for more than three decades. His sister Robin Standridge and Stubby Stumbaugh shared many memories and laughter together.

Congratulations to Jerry Cole and all the 2019 Cabot High School seniors who were awarded scholarships this year. Also, a big thank you to the Cabot Scholarship Foundation and all the individuals and businesses for contributing to these scholarships.

*A special thank you to the CHS AFJROTC cadets for serving dinner and helping clean up after the banquet.
