CHS Medical Program Donates Emergency Gear To COVID-19 Responders

March 26, 2020

The Cabot High School Career & Technical Education (CTE) Medical Program is helping in the fight against the coronavirus.

The CTE Medical Program donated dozens of personal protective equipment (PPE) and n95 masks to our support partners at Springhill Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. They are working directly with COVID-19 patients.

Coordinator of CTE & STEM Innovation Nicole Gatewood and Med Pro teachers Lyndsey Rich and Sarah Hyden worked together on a plan to distribute the much-needed emergency gear to our healthcare personnel. A nurse who received the donation stated, "Your donations truly mean so much to us. We cannot thank you enough."

You'll recall, Governor Hutchinson has stated PPE items are desperately needed in hospitals and clinics around the state. Cabot High School is proud to be able to help our medical heroes in need.
