Concerns Regarding After Hours CHS Student Parking

June 1, 2020

The Cabot School District is once again concerned about the behavior of students that are congregating on the Cabot High School student parking area.

Over the past few days, the parking area has been littered with trash including alcoholic beverage containers and broken glass bottles.  There have been numerous reports of disruptive and dangerous behavior.

The district has been in communication with the Cabot Police Department and the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office regarding the inappropriate behavior. If necessary, we shall re-enact our no loitering policy for district parking areas.

The district wants to provide an opportunity for the students to have a safe and well-lit parking area, but students have to monitor one another and behave appropriately to continue having this privilege.

Thank you for your understanding and we are encouraging parents to please talk with their students about this issue.
