Cabot Freshman Academy Progress

The Cabot Freshman Academy is progressing on schedule as planned.  Each of the buildings has shown great progress over the last few weeks. 

The Career and Technical building is a sparkling sneak peek into the greatness that will encompass this campus.  With a large area dedicated to agriculture and mechanics, pre-engineering as well as construction, this building will provide multiple opportunities for our students. 

The main campus is composed of two wings that house multiple classrooms, computer labs, media center, state of the art science labs and more.  Each wing will have a specific content area focus of either math and science or social studies and literacy.  The roof and walls are going up on our activity/health building. 

Finally, we are very excited to see progress in our cafeteria building which will also include the band, forensics and choir classes as well as a stage for performances. 

Our teacher leadership team, known as Cabot Special FX, has met recently and made some key decisions regarding programming, configuration and opportunities for students.  This team will work closely with district administration to create a personal learning experience for our Freshman students.
