Mrs. Lisa Baker - 2014 Personnel Administrator of the Year

Lisa Baker, Director of Personnel for the Cabot School District, was recently named the Arkansas School Personnel Administrator of the year. The award was presented to Mrs. Baker at the AAEA Conference in Little Rock on August 6th.
This award was given in appreciation for exemplary leadership in providing outstanding educational opportunities for children in the Cabot School District and for her distinguished service as an educational leader in Arkansas.
Ms. Baker is starting her 25th year in education, all with the Cabot School District. She began her career as a classroom teacher, then served as a building administrator, before becoming the Director of Personnel in 2004. She received her MSE in Ed. Leadership from UCA in 1995. Mrs. Baker currently serves on the Professional Licensure Standards Board, and is a member of the ethics sub-committee. She is an active member of the Arkansas Association of School Personnel Administrators, where she served as President in 2010, and is an active member of the American Association of School Personnel Administrators. She is currently serving on the Teacher and Administrator Induction and Mentoring Advisory Committee. She also served on the ADE Professional Licensure Task Force and the Teacher Recruitment and Retention Advisory Committee.
