All Aboard! The Polar Express pulls into two Elementary Schools

December 19, 2014

Dec. 19th, 2014

Some Cabot elementary students were in for quite a surprise when they arrived to school Friday morning.

The Polar Express made a stop at their school and literally transformed the front of Eastside and Central Elementary.

Conductors dressed in uniform, which included Supt. Dr. Thurman, High School Principal Henry Hawkins and Junior High South Principal John West, greeting students in their pajamas. Each child was given a “Polar Express Round” ticket as they prepared to embark on the magical journey.

Students participated in sing-a-longs throughout the day, enjoyed hot chocolate and received a bell directly from the North Pole!

At Central Elementary, kindergarten students were also greeted by a conductor and given tickets to enter the Polar Express. They watched the Polar Express movie and drank hot chocolate in their pajamas.
