Pop Tab Pandemonium

April 15, 2024

Cabot's K-Kids and Builder's Clubs donated over 500 pounds of pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House on April 19th.

Magness Creek Elementary won the overall contest with 249 pounds of tabs. Northside Elementary had 98 pounds, the second highest amount in Cabot.

The Ronald McDonald House recycles the aluminum tabs to help cover the cost of running facilities for families with sick children at Little Rock's Arkansas Children's Hospital.

This event teaches students about giving back to their community and about ways recycling can help not only the environment, but people in need. Over 6,500 pounds of tabs were donated by all of the groups that participated.

GREAT job Elementary schools!!!
