Students Succeed at Speech & Debate Tournament

Members of the Varsity Forensics team recently competed at the National Speech and Debate Association's Arkansas District Tournament, and the following students qualified to represent Arkansas at the NSDA National Competition to be held in Dallas during June.


The National Speech & Debate Tournament is the largest academic competition in the world! To attend the National Tournament, students must place among the top competitors at one of 110 district tournaments across the country.

Morgan Akers - Original Oratory
Ben Cameron / Blain Mahoney - Duo Interpretation
Julia Gardner - US Extemporaneous Speaking
Jennifer Akers was awarded Arkansas' NSDA Coach of the Year
