Cabot High School Teacher Named “Teacher of the Year

April 27, 2015

 April 27th, 2015

A Cabot High School teacher has been named “Teacher of the Year,” by Henderson State University.

Science teacher Kim Usery was nominated by student Rebeka Guttery. Rebeka is a high school junior and is in Mrs. Usery's chemistry class. She wrote an essay saying Mrs. Usery not only inspires her, but has changed her life, as well, as the lives of other students.

Rebeka described Mrs. Usery as a teacher who has a passion for learning and that her passion for chemistry has now rubbed off on her. In fact, Rebeka now plans to major in chemistry.

Congratulations Kim Usery on being named “Teacher of the Year!”
