CHS Graduate Presented with Dell Laptop

June 10, 2015

A recent Cabot High School graduate is now the owner of a brand new Dell laptop.

Grant Tarvin, winner of the national Ag Careers speech competition, was presented with the laptop from Cabot High School JAG Specialist Brenda Early. JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) is a work program that implements a national curriculum of work based skills. In fact, Cabot's JAG program is recognized as one of the top programs in the nation.

You may remember, Grant already won a trip to the JAG Student Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. where he presented his speech. He was also selected to receive one of 16 Ken Smith National JAG Scholarships.

Grant graduated on May 15th and will attend Arkansas Tech University in the fall.
