Kindergarten Enrollment

For the 2017-2018 school year, students must be five on or before August 1, 2017.  Each year thereafter, students must be five on or before August 1 of the year in which they are seeking initial enrollment in kindergarten.

Attendance Requirements

If parents or guardians do not wish for their child to attend kindergarten, they must file a signed kindergarten waiver with Cabot's Central Administrative Office.

Any student who has been enrolled in a state-accredited or state-approved kindergarten program in another state for at least sixty (60) days, who will become five years old during the year in which he/she is enrolled in kindergarten, and who meets the basic residency requirement for school attendance may be enrolled in kindergarten upon written request to the school district.  Please complete a Previous School Experience form for registration.

Registration takes place at the Central Administrative Office of Cabot Public Schools.  The office is located at 602 North Lincoln (501-843-3363).  Office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Parents registering their children for the first time in an Arkansas public school must provide proof of age, identity, residency, and immunizations, unless homeless.
