May 2016 School Board Recognition

Four Cabot Schools and more than a dozen math geniuses were recognized at the school board meeting.

ADE Rewards Money Check Presentation

The Arkansas School Recognition Program was created to provide financial awards to public schools that experience high student performance, student academic growth, and for secondary school, high graduation rate.

  

Congratulations to Southside Elementary, Stagecoach Elementary, Cabot Freshman Academy, and Cabot Middle School South for receiving a total of $176,754.91 in reward funds. Senator Eddie Joe Williams presented the principals with their checks.

Stagecoach Elementary School - Top 10% Performance - $22,767.13
Stagecoach Elementary School - Top 10% Growth - $22,767.13
Cabot Freshman Academy - Top 10% Performance - $37,493.09
Cabot Middle School South - Top 5% Growth - $71,249.45

ACTM Regional Math Competition Winners 

Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding performance at the ACTM (Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics) Regional Math Competition.

Julia Bielanin, Greenlee Crow, Brenna Frandson, Vinny Gemmiti, Jared Gilliam, Shaan Hyder,
Kiera Klein, Jared Oney, Connor Pearson, Kyle Reyes, and Taryn Toles.

Congratulations also go out to Brandon Weidling for receiving a top school score in the American Mathematics Contest 12 and to George Guzman for receiving a top school score in the American Mathematics Contest 10.
