CFA Hosts 3rd Annual College and Career Fair

Hundreds of students at the Cabot Freshman Academy had the opportunity to learn from dozens of career and college professionals. The Keystone Department hosted its 3rd annual College and Career Fair on Monday, March 13th.

More than 50 professionals and employers from across the state participated in the event. Students had the chance to attend four sessions where they learned about various careers they may be interested in pursuing. 

These professionals combined real word experience with the necessary skills needed to be successful in their field. Many careers in the military, agricultural, legal, financial, medical, and creative arts professions were represented at the career fair.

At the college fair, representatives from several Arkansas colleges, universities, technical colleges, and various branches of the military visited with students about their educational opportunities. Professors, admissions counselors, and military recruiting personnel answered questions, handed out information, and gave many students their first experience with the college application process.
