Former CHS Senior Wins Award for Historical Video

May 23, 2017

A former Cabot High school senior and now graduate, Jessica Pauley, was recently recognized for her film work.

At the encouraging of her teacher Bennie Brock, Jessica entered the AETN Historical Places video contest where she won an Honorable Mention for her video, "On the other side of the Tracks."

Her video was showcased at the Ron Robinson Theater in Little Rock on May 11. This was also made possible with the help of CHS Broadcasting Teacher Chuck Massey and his broadcasting equipment.

The Arkansas Educational Television Network's "Student Selects: A Young Filmmakers Showcase" is a program for kindergarten through 12th grade students, created to highlight the bright future of Arkansas's youngest filmmakers.

Congratulations to Jessica Pauley!
