Cabot Swim Conquers at District Meet

February 12, 2018

The district swim meet was held at Hendrix College on Thursday, February 8. Overall, the girls team placed 2nd with a combined score of 345 and the boys placed 3rd with a combined score of 320, all without having a dive team!

New school records were set by several members of the swim team! Congratulations to the following students:

200 Medley Relay
Girls placed 2nd

200 IM
Soph. Rachel Montanaro placed 2nd overall and breaks the school record

100 Freestyle
Fresh. Emma Echard placed 3rd overall

100 Breaststroke
Soph. Rachel Montanaro placed 2nd and breaks  the school record
Fresh. Jessica Bongfedt placed 3rd

200 Freestyle Relay
Girls Team placed 3rd

Jr. Tristen Bowen took 2nd placed overall

100 Breaststroke
Jr. Jason Bongfedt placed 3rd and breaks the school record

100 Backstroke
Jr. Tristen Bowen placed 1st overall

Congratulations students and great job representing Cabot! The swim team will compete at the state meet in Bentonville February 23-24. Good luck to everyone!
