Elementary Art Winners Surprised At School

Three students at Southside Elementary and Northside Elementary recently received a great surprise!

Representatives from Keep Arkansas Beautiful traveled to their schools to congratulate students on winning their youth poster contest. Congratulations to the following students:

Avery Howard – Southside Elementary – 3rd Place – K-2 grade division

Gabi Cotroneo – Northside Elementary – 2nd Place – 3-5 grade division

Lilli Dowda – Northside Elementary – Honorable Mention – 3-5 grade division

Avery and Gabi will receive a laminated coy of their artwork, a Certificate of Achievement, a Walmart gift card ($35 for second place, $20 for 3rd place), and a Keep Arkansas Beautiful t-shirt. Lilli also receives a Certificate of Achievement and a t-shirt.

In addition, the student's artwork will be featured at the Thea Foundation's art gallery in downtown North Little Rock on April 16-27. Their work is also featured on the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Facebook page.
