After Hours Student Parking At CHS

The Cabot School District has received several questions regarding after hours parking in the Cabot High School main student parking lot. 

Last fall, we made the decision to not allow individuals to park or congregate in that area after it was continuously littered with trash and broken bottles and several instances of inappropriate behavior even after repeated warnings.  

The district is willing to allow our students to gather in the CHS main student parking lot after hours with the stipulation that the area be left as it is found and that disruptive behavior not become an issue. 

However, if problems arise once again, the district will re-enact our no loitering policy for this parking area. We want our students to have a safe and well-lit area to congregate. We also want our students to appreciate the fact that they are being given this opportunity and to help monitor one another so that this privilege is not lost.  

Please keep in mind all Cabot city curfews, rules, and regulations remain in effect as well as the no loitering policy for all other areas in the school district after school hours.
