This week, friends and family members gathered at Cabot High School to watch three student-athletes sign letters of intent to play sports at the college level.
Congratulations to Taylor Bell (Volleyball - Baker University), Tristyn Edgar (Soccer - University of Tulsa), and Joelle Long (Soccer - University of the Ozarks).
Taylor Bell was the first signee. She was joined by her parents Thomas & Wanda, as she signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at Baker University next fall. Taylor was All-Conference in 2016 and recently won the Presidential Scholarship Award from Baker University. Taylor is looking forward to the great volleyball program at Baker University, for the amazing experience as a student-athlete, and this new chapter in her life. Taylor plans to major in International Business with a minor in German.
Tristyn Edgar is excited to continue her athletic career at the University of Tulsa where she will play soccer next fall. Since Tristyn was little she has wanted to play soccer and was looking for a school where she could form personal relationships with her professors and classmates. Tristyn was All-State in soccer in 2016 and All-State in track in 2015. Tristyn, with proud father Robert, is excited for this next opportunity and eager to begin this new phase of her life. Tristyn will attend the USYSA Region III Brazil Soccer Tour Rio de Janeiro in April 2017!
Joelle Long concluded the ceremony, with proud parents Chris & Christina, she signed her letter of intent to play soccer next fall at the University of the Ozarks.
