CHS AFJROTC Fundraising Effort for Gold Star Families

Cabot High School AFJROTC is on a mission to help Gold Star Families in Arkansas. 

They are working with Senator Eddie Joe Williams to raise funds to help place a Gold Star Family Memorial Monument on the Arkansas State Capitol grounds. The monument is a tribute to Gold Star mothers, fathers, and relatives who have sacrificed a loved one for our freedom.  

Their goal is to raise $15,000 toward a statewide goal of $500,000. There are matching funds for every dollar raised. This is a cadet led effort and 100% of all funds raised will go towards the monument. 

Cadets will be collecting money at some of our home sporting events, including our home football games.

The monument is expected to be built by next Veterans Day, November 2018.
