Arkansas Department of Health Information: Varicella (Chickenpox)

The district will be sending home letters to select students at Stagecoach Elementary, Cabot Middle School South, and students that ride bus 40, bus 134, and bus 1.  The Arkansas Department of Health advises the district in regard to what students will receive notification.  

If your child is in the group identified by the Arkansas Department of Health as being at a heightened risk for Varicella (a.k.a. Chickenpox), they will receive the letter today. 

All parents are advised to become familiar with the symptoms of Varicella by reviewing the fact sheet provided by the Arkansas Department of Health.
