Lonoke County Healthy Poster Contest Winners — 2018 Calendar

November 17, 2017

Eleven Cabot elementary students were recently surprised for their talented artwork!

They learned their drawings won the Lonoke County Hometown Health Coalition's Healthy Community Poster Contest. The theme was to draw a Healthy Tobacco Free Community.

The students were surprised in class by Milton Garris, an administrator with the Lonoke and Cabot Health Unit, and Neldia Dycus, Central Region Director for the Arkansas Department of Health.

Garris and Dycus gave each winner a gym bag full of goodies including art, school supplies, and a t-shirt.

The winning posters are featured in the 2018 Lonoke County Hometown Health Coalition calendar. Students will also be recognized at the November School Board meeting.
