Panther Wrestling Team Heads To State

This season has been a great one for the Cabot Wrestling Team. With an overall record of 16-3 and several individual places and titles, the team is looking well heading into the state meet February 16th & 17th.

The 10th Annual Arkansas State High School Wrestling Tournament will be held at the Jack Stephens Center located at 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock.

Team highlights from the 2017 Wrestling Season include the following:

• Rumble at the Rock Tournament - Girls team took 3rd Place

• Cabot Pools Tournament - 2nd Place

• Bryant Dual Tournament - 2nd Place

• Conference Tournament - 3rd Place

• Conference Dual - 3rd Place

Seven individual athletes medaled at conference tournament:
Dylan Dowda - Champion
CJ Long - Champion
Caden Wilson - 3rd Place
Jake Long - 3rd Place
Mikale Nelson - 3rd Place
Cayden McLaughlin - 3rd Place
Dylan Skinner - 4th Place
