Central Elementary Entrepreneurship Project
Some tech savvy students at Central Elementary have formed a small business! With the guidance of Gifted & Talented Specialist Mr. West, the children are selling personalized bag tags through their bookstore. Their principal Mrs. Hill gave them a budget for materials and they had to do the following in preparation for their new business.
*Research prices for clasps and 3D printing filament
*Determine a reasonable price that would cover materials and time spent producing tags
*Make multiple prototype designs in Tinkercad, a design software
*Create an order form, both electronically and in paper form for kids to fill out
*Write a script for a commercial to advertise via YouTube channel
*Produce the commercial
*Create posters to display in our school
*Take orders through the bookstore
*Design each bag tag according to requests from consumers
*Plan for packaging tags for distribution
*Plan for delivering tags to consumers
The children have sold many tags, and have lots of orders for further distribution! If you have placed an order, your patience is appreciated, as our kids are running two 3D printers throughout the day to customize orders. Click HERE if you are interested in placing an order!
All-State Band Members
