Cabot Students Recognized For Artwork

Some of our talented art students will showcase their work at the AR Arts Center and the Governor's Mansion.
57th Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition at the Arkansas Arts Center
Artwork by three Cabot High School students and a Cabot Junior High South student have been selected for exhibition in this year's Young Arkansas Artist competitive show sponsored by the Arkansas Arts Center.
This annual exhibition showcases artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade from across the state. Eight works per grade level were selected from a total of 492 pieces from 142 teachers. The show will be on exhibit from May 8, 2018 through July 22, 2018.

2018 Governor's Young Artist Competition Finalists Announced
We are happy to announce that five Cabot High School students and a student from the Cabot Freshman Academy were selected for inclusion in the 2018 Governor's Young Artist Competition with sponsorship by Entergy Arkansas. Entries were chosen from approximately 450 works received from all over the state of Arkansas.
The 2018 theme, “Natural Wonders,” welcomed artwork inspired by nature, music, science, natural products, resources and environments.
Artwork will be in display in the Governor's Mansion from April 3rd through April 28th. Prizes will be awarded at a special reception for students, family members, and teachers at the Governor's Mansion on the last day of the display from 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
