CTA Teachers with Heart 2018 Finalists Revealed

The Cabot Classroom Teacher Association (CTA) has once again teamed up with Centennial Bank in Cabot and the Cabot Panther Foundation to honor our district's outstanding educators.
On Wednesday, April 25th, the surprise patrol (Renee Johnson, CTA, McKala Barnett, CTA, Damon Bivins, Centennial Bank, Larry Tarrant, Centennial Bank, & Liz Massey, Director of Communications/Cabot Schools) delivered exciting news to 17 unsuspecting teachers. They learned they were finalists for the “CTA Teachers with Heart” award!
Out of a total of 858 nominations, these were the top 17 finalists!
Anna Cullum – Stagecoach Elementary
Sarah Fryar – Ward Central Elementary
Becki Warren – Magness Creek Elementary}
Whitney Walker – Westside Elementary
Jennifer Giese – Southside Elementary
Hannah Pigman – Northside Elementary
Vanessa Hamilton – Eastside Elementary
Jamie Oitker – Central Elementary
Ashley Spruiell – Mountain Springs Elementary
Laura Hicks – Cabot Middle School South
Scott Jones – Cabot Middle School North
Sherri Leonard – Cabot Learning Academy
Michael Ballard – Cabot Junior High North
Adam Collie – Cabot Junior High South
Justin Acree – Cabot Freshman Academy
Ginger Mills – Cabot High School
Bianca Pernillo – Cabot High School
All the finalists are invited to a luncheon Monday, May 11th. They will also be recognized at the end of year district meeting May 25th, and three outstanding teachers will be presented with the “Cabot CTA Teachers with Heart Award” and $250 cash.
