More than 200 classified district employees were celebrated at the second “Classys” Banquet.
The banquet was held Monday, April 30th, at the Cabot Freshman Academy cafeteria.
Over 200 classified/support staff members were nominated by their peers and members in the community for going above and beyond the call of duty every day.
Superintendent Dr. Tony Thurman welcomed everyone to the event praising nominees for their hard work and dedication to the Cabot School District. The honorees along with their guests enjoyed dinner and a performance by the Cabot High School Jazz Ensemble.
Cabot School Board Secretary Brian Evans congratulated all the “Classys” and thanked them for their hard work and Cabot Freshman Academy teacher Jane Balgavy spoke about family and how the district always comes together and cares for one another.
Thank you to the Panther Foundation for sponsoring the banquet. Each honoree was given a trophy and Panther bag.
Also a special thank you for Pam Carter, Roger Tonnesson, and Karen Davis for making the Classys a huge success! Thank you to the CHS National Honor Society for serving dinner to our “Classys”.
