Health Insurance Now Available for Full-Time Cabot Bus Drivers!

The Cabot School District is offering a new incentive to full-time bus drivers. Health insurance coverage will now be available beginning in August 2019! 

This new benefit is made possible after House Bill 1223 passed during the most recent Arkansas legislative session, allowing school bus drivers to participate in the State and Public School Life and Health Insurance Program. The district will pay a monthly contribution to the premium and the employee will be able to choose their plan. Rates start as low as $10.06 per month. Along with health insurance, there are many other benefits to being a full-time Cabot school bus driver.

Starting route pay is also $10,620 a year for 3.5 hour full time drivers. That's $16.86 per hour. The district will also provide training to get you ready to pass your driving test.
