Panther Golf Closes 2019 Season with First and Second Place in Conference

The Cabot High School Panthers and Lady Panthers Golf Team ended a successful season with numerous tournament wins, a conference championship, a runner-up conference and an individual State runner up title.

The Lady Panthers Team entered the State Tournament as the 6A Conference Champions and finished in the 3rd place overall in the State Tournament.

The Panther Team finished as 6A Central Conference Runner Up and 4th in the State Tournament.

*Caleb Miller also qualified for the ASGA HS Overall State Championship. The ASGA Championship Tournament will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock.

Head Golf Coach Matt Malham said “Both the girls and boys had good seasons. The girls won 10 of 12 tournaments and the boys won 8 of 12 tournaments. I am proud of all of our golfers for their attitude and effort all year long. We played a lot of good golf and I am looking forward to another good season next year.”
