REMINDER Free Athletic Physicals June 23/July 7—Must Pre-Register ONLINE

June 22, 2020

UPDATE: Please register ONLINE BEFORE coming to the physical dates and fill out and bring the History Form with you.

Due to COVID-19 and the closure of the district, Cabot Public Schools were unable to provide athletic physicals in April like we had planned for our 2020-2021 athletes. We are happy to announce that now the Cabot Athletic Department in conjunction with the ARcare and Cabot Public Schools Athletic Training Department will offer FREE Pre-Participating Exam (P.P.E)/athletic physicals to student athletes on Tuesday June 23rd & Tuesday, July 7th.

NEW THIS YEAR:
*All student athletes MUST pre-register online BEFORE attending the physical dates.

*A face mask MUST be worn upon arrival and at all times.
*Upon arriving, each athlete will be asked the COVID-19 screening questions and have their temperatures taken using a non contact thermometer. Temperature must be under 100.4.

The pre-participation physical exams are for current Cabot Public Schools athletes who are on a current roster and will be entering the 8th-12th grades in the 2020-2021 school year.

Who: Current CPS student athletes
(Must be on a current roster & next year's 8th-12th graders)

What: FREE student athlete physicals

When: Tuesday, June 23 & Tuesday, July 7 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Where: CHS Athletic Field House (79 South Pine)

If you are a 7th grader, new to Cabot or participating in athletics for the FIRST time, you are required to have a physical from your personal health care provider on file BEFORE you may try out or participate in any athletics. Bring a copy of the physical to tryouts or to your coach, athletic trainer, or Athletic Office.

If an athlete is NOT currently on an athletic roster, they MUST go to their primary care physician to fulfill the AAA requirements of having a P.P.E. prior to participating in any athletic activity for Cabot Public Schools.

If you choose not to attend the free physical dates that the school is providing, you may still go to your Primary Care Physician (PCP). Please make sure your physcial is for the 2020-2021 school year. To print off an athletic physical form to take to your PCP, please click HERE.

If you have questions regarding athletic physicals, please call 501-743-3530.
