Miriam BerryhillMy name is Miriam Berryhill and I have the privilege of serving as the principal of Northside Elementary.

Here at Northside, we have traditions that range back from a few years to traditions that started the first year the building opened. In its early years, Northside was known as the Golden Rule school. We want you to know that every child that walks through those doors we treat as if he or she is our own child. We love them, care for them, and set high expectations for them as we teach them both academically and socially.

Several years ago, we established the tradition of telling the students to "Go Be Great!" In all that we do at Northside, we want to teach our students and families to be the greatest that they can be in big tasks and small ones, just as we strive to offer the greatest school experience that we can by offering top-notch academics where students will grow to be life-long learners capable of problem solving, and becoming leaders in our community. We invite you as families to help us in 'being great' by communicating with us any needs you have for your child and partnering with us to help make incredible experiences for the students.

Our last tradition is to say daily to the students that "Northside loves you!" From the moment you walk through the doors you will see that your child is loved and valued. We look forward to an incredible year of accomplishing great things.

Welcome to Northside!! Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
