Cabot Track & Field Caps Off a Year of Records, Titles & Top Finishes

The 2025 track and field season was nothing short of spectacular for the Cabot Panthers and Lady Panthers  filled with championship moments, personal bests, and top finishes on the biggest stages.

Lady Panthers: Three-Peat Conference Champions
On May 1, the Lady Panthers claimed their third consecutive 6A Central Conference title, racking up an impressive 181.5 points at Conway High School. The team dominated across multiple events with individual titles, personal records, and team victories.

2025 Lady Panther Track and Field Team


Individual Conference Standouts:

  • Kenzie Pruett was unstoppable, earning the Individual High Point Award with 47 total points. She was crowned conference champion in: Triple Jump (36-2.50), 100m Hurdles (15.22), 300m Hurdles (45.68), and also placed in Long Jump, High Jump, and 200m.
  • Cady Masters led the distance squad with a 3rd-place finish in the 1600m (5:28.51), runner-up in the 3200m (12:52.09), and ran a leg of the 1st-place 4x800m relay.
  • 4x800m Relay Team (Masters, Ensley Grant, Alexis Odom, Ja’Liesha Jackson): 1st place, 10:14.91

Throwers shined with:

  • Kelis Jackson – 1st in Discus (118-8), 6th in Shot Put
  • Karmen Jackson – 1st in Shot Put (35-10), 3rd in Discus
  • Kallie Sims – 2nd in Pole Vault (9-6), 3rd in 100m Hurdles (16.42)

Additional standout contributors included Chloe Brown (3rd in 400m, 3rd in HJ), Savannah Fisher (top 5 in multiple distance events), and strong relay performances across the board.


Lady Panthers at State: Top-5 Finish & New School Record
At the 6A State Championship on May 8 at Bentonville West, the Lady Panthers finished 5th overall out of 15 teams with 47 team points and added a new school record to their resume!

Highlights:

  • 4x800m Relay (Fisher, Jackson, Grant, Masters) – 3rd place, school record time of 9:35.67
  • 4x400m Relay (Brown, Fisher, Lemay, Pruett) – 3rd place (4:09.91)
  • Kenzie Pruett – 3rd in Triple Jump (36-8.5), 100m Hurdles (15.03), and 300m Hurdles (45.85)
  • Kelis Jackson – 3rd in Discus (120-10)
  • Other top finishes:

Karmen Jackson – 4th in SP, 8th in Discus
Chloe Brown – 6th in LJ (PR: 17-6.25)
Savannah Fisher – 7th in 800m (PR: 2:24.50)


Panthers: 3rd at Conference, 8th at State
The Cabot Panthers had a strong showing in the 6A Central Conference, finishing 3rd with 122 points, and later placed 8th at State with 31 points, led by powerhouse performances in throws, hurdles, and distance.

2025 Panther Track and Field Team


Conference Highlights:

  • Jackson Bates – 1st in Shot Put (52-11), 6th in Discus
  • Reese Fisher – 1st in 800m (1:56.82, #6 in Arkansas)
  • Myson McFall – 1st in 3200m (9:43.15), 2nd in 1600m (4:30.47 PR)
  • Cooper Powell – 2nd in Discus (153-1), 3rd in Shot Put (46-6)
  • Lucas Blalack – 2nd in Pole Vault (13-0 PR)

Relay teams and sprinters also chipped in major points, including:

  • 4x100m (Hart, Shine, Criner, Acosta) – 3rd
  • 4x200m – 5th
  • 4x400m – 7th

Panthers at State: Podium Finishes & Personal Records
At the 6A State Championship, the Panthers battled hard and came away with big moments:

  • Jackson Bates – 3rd in Shot Put (51-2.25)
  • Reese Fisher – 3rd in 800m (1:55.03 PR)
  • Cooper Powell – 4th in Discus (PR: 156-7)
  • 4x200m Relay – 4th place, season-best (1:29.13)
  • Lucas Blalack – 6th in Pole Vault (13-6 PR)
  • Tristan Pallasigui – 7th in both hurdle events, including a PR in the 300m (41.63)
