CHS Senior Named AR Times Academic All-Star
May 3, 2018

Cabot High School senior Jenny Bond has been named an Arkansas Times Academic All-Star.
This award honors the best and brightest in the state. Only 20 students are named to the list.
Jenny is one of the top students at Cabot High School. She will be attending Tulane University in New Orleans in the fall where she will double major in Public Health and Molecular Biology. After spending a summer shadowing a neurosurgeon, her resolve to pursue a medical degree was solidified, and in her sophomore year, she co-founded FemiSTEM, an organization promoting girls' participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Outside of the classroom, Jenny rides horses and competes in the Arkansas Hunter Jumper Association. She is also a member of the indoor state record setting 4x400 meter relay. Jenny has been awarded a full tuition Dean's Honors Scholarship to Tulane, and she plans to obtain a dual medical and public health (MD/MPH) degree, focusing her work on infectious disease with high-risk communities.
Jenny recently attended the Arkansas Times Academic All-Star ceremony at UALR where she was given a plaque and a $250 award.
