ACE
Academic Center of Excellence
(ACE)
ACE is a learning community committed to quality learning. Here students, in grades 7-12, of any ability and with varying interests are able to find a place that suits them. The small population of the school adds to the personal investment made in each student while still offering the modern technology of the 21st century.
ACE is a virtual school that provides an alternative to traditional school. Students are enrolled in core classes as well as electives necessary to meet Arkansas graduation requirements. The curriculum is aligned with Common Core and is presented using methods such as Apex digital curriculum, Blackboard classes, project-based learning, classroom instruction, and core-specific focus groups. Students are self-paced and are assessed through project based learning with mastery learning objectives.
Enrollment in Cabot Public Schools is prerequisite for applying for enrollment in ACE. District enrollment (for new students) should be completed at the zoned building. Application for enrollment in ACE should be completed at the Academic Center of Excellence, 21 Funtastic Drive.
