Cabot Chess - After winning regionals at White County Central, this weekend the Cabot Competitive Chess team went to North Little Rock High School and won first place at the State Championship.  Students that competed in the Junior High level were our very own Dominick Santana; along with, Cabot Junior High South's Chael Pierce, Conner Sitzmann, and Alexander Cambridge.  

Attention 8th graders: Summer School information can be found on the counseling center Google classroom. 

Between Monday, April 20th, and Friday, April 24, anyone who turns in an overdue book from the Media Center will be entered into a drawing for a free poster from our most recent book fair. There are 25 posters up for grabs!  Winners will be notified by email on Thursday, April 30th, and will pick out their poster on May 1st. 

We are excited to kick off 'Where Are You Going Wednesdays'! Every Wednesday during April and May, we encourage you to wear a shirt that represents your future college, trade school, or military branch. It’s a fun way to see what your future journey looks like. 

Any current 8th graders interested in trying out for the 2026 CHS Golf Team please sign up for the google classroom for all the information. You must complete the tryout form on google classroom by April 25, 5pm. Please email Coach Malham with any questions.

Volleyball Tryouts will be held on May 19, 20, and 21 during Navigation. Any current 7th and 8th grade girls who are not currently on the team are eligible to try out. Important: You must bring a current physical on the first day of tryouts in order to participate.  

Softball Tryouts for 8th graders going into 9th grade.  May 19, 20 & 21st at the High School Softball Field from 4pm-5:30pm.  Important: You must attend all three days!  Sign up using Google Classroom Code is posted on the TV’s.  You will need an athletic physical - Catchers equipment if you are a catcher, cleats, and glove. Bats and helmets are optional. If you do not have one we will provide. 

 Tennis Tryouts for 8th grade boys & girls going into the 9th grade will be held April 28, 29 & 30th at the High School Tennis Courts from 4:30pm-6:00pm. " Important": You must attend all three days!  . You will need an athletic physical to participate.

8th grade Girl Soccer Tryout will be May 8th 11th and 12th 5 - 6pm. CHS multiuse

Any girl going into 9th-12th grades may try out! Please bring your own water, shin guards, and cleats. You do not need your own ball. Fill out the google form prior to tryouts

Girls Basketball tryouts: May 12, 13, and 14 during RTI. Join Google Classroom with code: dwysnwol

Anyone trying out MUST bring an up to date Physical on the AAA Physical form to tryouts, otherwise will not be able to tryout until that form is turned in. The form can be found on the Cabot Athletic Page Website under “Forms”!

Students WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to leave the cafe/courtyard areas without a note from the teacher.
