COVID-19 Update: Tuesday, March 30

Mar 30, 2021

It appears that Governor Hutchinson will allow the statewide mask mandate to expire on Wednesday, March 31. We have made the decision to wait until after the press conference scheduled for Tuesday afternoon to announce any changes to our current policy regarding face coverings that are currently required of teachers, students and visitors in all school and district facilities.

We may also receive additional guidance in regard to quarantine guidelines and capacity limitations. At this point, we have not been provided advance notice on what flexibility to current guidelines will be given to school districts at this time.

Though we understand the imperative to make timely decisions, we ask for your patience since we need the opportunity to carefully consider any and all information that will be provided by Governor Hutchinson on Tuesday afternoon.

Regardless of any changes that may be considered as we move into the final weeks of school, we will continue to focus on maintaining a safe teaching and learning environment while educating our students.
