Free Meals Extended for the 2021-2022 School Year
July 13, 2021
The Cabot School District is pleased to announce that breakfast and lunch will once again be served to all students (7th-12th digital included) at NO CHARGE during the 2021-2022 school year. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended meal benefits to all students at this time.
A new free and reduced-price meal application does not need to be completed if you qualified for the 2020-2021 school year. Last year’s meal status will be extended for the new school year.
However, students new to the district or that may now qualify for free and reduced-price meals are encouraged to fill out a form. Click HERE to apply online.
These meal benefits do not include a la carte items sold in the cafeteria. If students wish to purchase a la carte items, they will need to have money for those purchases.
All adults, visitors, teachers, support staff members, and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal which is currently $3.00 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch.
*Details on how digital students (7th-12th) will pick up meals will be released at a later date.
