Cabot Church of Christ $10,000 Donation for Kids

At the August School Board meeting, Cabot Church of Christ once again presented the district with another $10,000 to our Backpacks for Kids program!  In 16 years, church members have donated more than $130,000 to help support our Cabot School District students.

The Backpack for Kids program was started by Cabot Middle School South teachers Becky and Chester Brown. They felt a calling to give back and help students in need. They took their cause to their congregation and church members have been donating to the program ever since.

Church members Corey and Ashley Spruiell who is also a teacher at Mountain Springs Elementary and Associate T.J. Davidson attended the board meeting to present the donation.
