State Proclamations
It was a special night for our Arkansas Teacher of the Year Jessica Saum. She was not honored with one but two citations at the October Cabot School Board meeting.
Mrs. Saum received a House Citation from State Representative Brian Evans and a Senate Citation from State Senator Ricky Hill for her incredible accomplishment as an educator and being named the 2022 Arkansas Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations Mrs. Saum!
National Merit Semifinalists
Our three CHS National Merit Semifinalists Noah Pifer, Preston Hodges, and Landon Hardister were also recognized at the October Cabot School Board meeting.
Approximately, 16,000 students are named National Merit Semifinalists nationwide, based on their PSAT/NMSQT scores. These students now have the opportunity to compete for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 MILLION dollars that will be offered next spring.
State Representative Brian Evans was also honored at the meeting for his ten years of service (2011-2021) on the Cabot School Board. Thank you Rep. Evans for your committment to our students and staff!
