College Signings: Football 2022

Family and friends gathered at Cabot High School recently to congratulate three student-athletes who signed their National Letter of Intent to play football next fall.

Congratulations to Baden Jay, Jose Lopez, and Justin Sobczak!

Our first signee was Braden Jay. Braden will play football at Harding University. Braden recently received the 6A/7A Offensive Player of the Year in Arkansas and is a Landers Award finalist. Braden also made All-Conference and All-State his junior and senior years.

When deciding on a college to attend, Braden said Harding seemed like a great environment for him and he connected well with the coaching staff. He is looking forward to playing football at the collegiate level and getting to know his new teammates. Braden plans to major in Exercise Science at Harding.

Jose Lopez was our next signee and will also play football at Harding University. Jose was All-Conference his senior year. Jose is excited for his college experience  and getting a fresh start with his new team and coaches. While at Harding, Jose plans to major in Business.

Our final signee of the day was Justin Sobczak. Justin was All-Conference and All-State his senior year. Justin said his whole life has always been about the Cabot Panthers. When he was little he wanted to be just like the guys on the field. Now with college, he is excited to be a Harding Bison and move onto his next step in life. Justin plans to major in Nursing at Harding.
